Then the rose realized how much bird loved him but it was too late because bird was dead. InshaAllah everyone is well and in the best of health and iman. I wanted to share something I read with everyone about counting our blessings.

If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep ... you are richer than 75% of this world's population.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace ... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can pray in mosque without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death ... you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.
If your parents are still alive and still married ... you are very rare. If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly
thankful ... you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not. If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
Have a good day, count your blessings to thank ALLAH (God), and pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are.

devoting herself to God, but when a Muslim woman does that, she's considered "oppressed"? • Why a Jew can grow a beard and he's just practicing his faith, and when a Muslim does that, he's an extremist? • When a western woman stays at home to look after the house and kids she's sacrificing herself and doing good for the household, but when a Muslim woman does so, she "needs to be liberated"? • Why is it that when a child dedicates himself to a subject, he has potential, and when a child dedicates himself to Islam, he is hopeless? • When a Christian kills someone, religion is not mentioned, (i.e., Ireland and the IRA) but when a Muslim is charged with a crime, it's Islam that goes to trial? • When a married man in a Western country has girlfriends/mistresses, it is not a questionable offense but when a Muslim man has two wives it is a big issue. But then again, why is it after all that, Islam is still the fastest growing religion in the world ??? *Thanks to "Slave" for this piece!

Islam is not a game, don't play with it. Islam is not a mystery, behold it. Islam is not for cowards, face it. Islam is not for the dead, live it. Islam is a promise, fulfill it. Islam is a duty, perform it. Islam is a treasure (the Prayer), pray it. Islam is a beautiful way of life, see it. Islam has a message for you, hear it. Islam is love , love it. ISLAM IS MY WAY OF LIFE! -Peace! November 20 Exams againExam season coming up again ... I'm definately not looking forward to it! But, I'm gonna have to face it when it comes Isha-Allah. Just under three weeks from now, not much time.
Some all-nighters are now on my agenda ... I guess. I think its the best time to study, when everyone's asleep. Every noisy, distracting and annoying machine is off; nothing to bug me. Well ... in another sense, I just need to study far away from the bedroom; prevents me from hearing the snooring ... if anyone does, lol.

March 08 SalaahA man woke up early in order to pray the Fajr prayer in
the masjid. He got dressed, made his ablution and was on his way to the masjid. On his way to the masjid, the man fell and his clothes got dirty. He got up, brushed himself off, and headed home. At home, he changed his clothes, made his ablution, and was, again, on his way to the masjid.
On his way to the masjid, he fell again and at the same
spot! He, again, got up, brushed himself off and headed home. At home he, once again, changed his clothes, made his ablution and was on his way to the masjid. On his way to the masjid, he met a man holding a lamp. He asked the man of his identity and the man replied "I saw you fall twice on your way to the masjid, so I brought a lamp so I can light your way."
The first man thanked him profusively and the two where on
their way to the masjid. Once at the masjid, the first man asked the man with the
lamp to come in and pray Fajr with him. The second man refused. The first man asked him a couple more times and, again, the answer was the same. The first man asked him why he did not wish to come in and pray. The man replied "I am Satan !"
The first man was shocked at this reply.
Satan went on to explain :
"I saw you on your way to the masjid and it was I who made you fall. When you went home, cleaned yourself and went back on your way to the masjid, Allah forgave all of your sins. I made you fall a second time, and even that did not encourage you to stay home, but rather, you went back on your way to the masjid. Because of that, Allah forgave all the sins of the people
of your household. I was afraid if i made you fall one more time, then Allah will forgive the sins of the people of your village, so i made sure that you reached the masjid safely." So do not let Satan benefit from his actions. Do not put off a good that you intended to do as you never know how much reward you might receive from the hardships you encounter while trying to achieve that good.

Mine will be spent to the fullest studying ... lol. Haven't been doing any of it lately. Just got alot on my mind since the past few weeks. Hope I manage to pull of straight A's in them Insha-Allah.
Sociology promises to be challenging for me. The other courses are okay ... I guess.
Not even sure if I will make it to any of the exams ... My trust is in Allah's mercy. February 15 BUS CRASH ! ! !I was on the bus headed to school yesterday when the Bus driver was being lacadazical as usual ... not noticing what was happening what was going on the road and collided in not one but TWO vehicles! A honda and a Toyota pickup.
I guess he worked out something with the drivers of the the vehicles because everything seemed to be resolved within 10 minutes.
The Honda lost its bumper and the pickup was smashed in from behind.
Of course there were people who were concerned with the damage done to the vehicles ... and there were other who just didn't care.
Can you imagine that the driver of our bus came back on the bus as if nothing happened? February 12 our messengerWe all as muslims here what going on around the world pertaining to the images about Rasoolulah.
I just hope this all ends in a peaceful reconciliation ... Insha-Allah January 08 School tomorrow ???While most of you students are getting ready for school which begins tomorrow........I have one whole week!
 My University gave us an extra week!
